Apr 23, 2007· I just purchased a 1 1/2 horse smaller knee mill (8x30)and need to tool up with some end mills. Well, theres a ton of options out there and being somewhat new to this I need some sugeestions. There are 2 flute, 4 flute, HSS,Cobalt,M2AL,TIN,Carbide,Solid Carbide,Micrograin,ETC. Im thinking sizes from 1/4" to 7/8"(max).
